We are often asked "Why the name 'Fisher's Tale' ?" Well, we went through various names including 'Not Yet Banned' but were looking for a name that was not overtly religious yet would suit the group's sound. It says what we're about: proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ from the Word of God, just as the fishermen disciples did in Israel at the time of Jesus' ministry. Now it's an established name, and people are beginning to know who we are, despite the personnel changes! The reason for the band's name is summed up in the title of the first album: '"Why didn't you tell me..." the Fisher's Tale?'
